About
I’m Ghita. (She/Her)
I’m an experienced journalist and producer with a proven track record in creating compelling video content, delivering impactful reporting, and growing audiences.
I’ve spent the last several years as a senior producer at Brut Media, where I played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s U.S. presence. I’ve hosted countless videos, gone undercover, spent a day with paparazzi, and chased a celebrity owl through Central Park. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing many of my videos not only go viral but also prompt meaningful discussions in the comments section.
Born and raised in Morocco, I moved to the United States in 2011 to study film & television at Boston University. After graduating, I joined Snap, then just a three-year-old company. I worked as story editor curating stories for audiences around the world, an experience I credit for sparking my passion for journalism. I moved back home to Morocco and helped establish Morocco World News, the country’s first English language news org. I later attended the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, which provided me with a solid foundation in engagement journalism and video production. During much of my time at CUNY, I interned at CNN, learning a great deal about how to craft social videos.
As you explore my portfolio, you'll find a showcase of my work, highlighting my skillset in video production and multimedia storytelling. Thanks for visiting!
